Around the world, Christmas is known as a season filled with joy, happiness, and generosity.   Family gatherings, decorating the tree, putting up lights to shopping for the perfect gifts to get into a Christmas spirit.    Stores and radio stations begin to play Christmas music to envoke a sense of holiday cheer in the hearts of their listeners,  the scents of pine and cinnamon fill the air and gives reason for the inevitable feelings of happiness many experience during the holiday season.  Experiencing “Christmas cheer” is different for everyone since everyone has their own personal ties to Christmas.  

Being able to experience the nostalgic moments that are associated with the Christmas season can make anyone’s heart smile. The opportunity to take a pause from life’s stressors, be with loved ones, and experience the gift of gratitude can enhance one’s state of well-being. 

Although, the Christmas season may seem to be a joyful time for most, for children who dont have a family or a family who can not afford holiday gifts may never experience what the magic of christmas feels like.  

Every year we collect gift cards for families who cant afford holiday gifts for their kids and unaccompanied youth without a family on christmas.
