Idaho Housing and Finance Association is leading a coordinated effort to address the issues of homelessness in Idaho. Outlined in the report are the interventions being carried out by Idaho Housing and partnering community programs to provide housing and support to displaced individuals and families. Through a united effort, we can ensure every Idahoan receives the care and support they need.
The Idaho Food Stamp Program is a supplemental nutrition assistance program that helps families buy food for good health. Eligible families get a debit like card to buy food items.

Cash Assistance
This program provides cash assistance for: emergency situations, families with children, and the elderly, blind or disabled. Eligible families receive a one time or on-going payment, depending on the needs of the household.
This program helps parents and caretakers pay for a part of their child care costs while working, going to school, or participating in approved training activities.
Nonprofits and schools that provide housing and/or supportive services to low-income or homeless Idahoans will be participating in the 12th annual Avenues for Hope Housing Challenge to raise funds to help meet their community's housing needs.
The 2022 campaign begins at 8:00 a.m. MT on Dec. 12, 2022. To make a gift, please return between December 12-31.
Every donation of $25 or more will help provide critical resources to ensure Idahoans in need have access to safe, stable, affordable housing, and supportive services.
